So if you hadn’t caught the announcement, there will be armour customisation in W.A.R. which will apparently include painting. That sounds fantastic, initially, since it goes really well with the Warhammer spirit of customised paint job armies. On closer inspection, there are a few problems associated with it. How many Chaos roleplayers might we see wandering around in Khornate costumes, or Nurgle? High Elves in dark elf regalia, and vice versa. It’ll be like Halloween every day. Thankfully, they’re probably putting restrictions on the system. Whether that means you can only paint certain parts of your armour, or whether it excludes some colour, I’m not sure. Whatever happens, I think the trend will continue and we’ll see black paint as the richest. It’s so expensive to be emo in an MMORPG!
Today’s comic is four panels, because it wouldn’t all fit in three. Took a little longer to draw it all up, but I’ve been working on it on and off all week. In addition, the Cast section’s been updated.
